How to Prevent Conflicts in Lesson Distribution?

There are three fundamental types of conflict in timetables. Teacher conflict: the same teacher appearing in two different classes at the same time. Class conflict: a class scheduled for two lessons at once. Room conflict: two different classes assigned to the same lab or hall at the same time.

In a 20-class school, roughly 600-800 lesson-hour cells are filled each week. Each cell requires checking in three dimensions (teacher, class, room). The human eye cannot check flawlessly at this scale; studies show that manually prepared timetables contain dozens of conflicts in the first draft. Excel is no help here either, because it does not enforce constraints between cells.

The lasting solution is to use a system that validates every placement instantly as the timetable is built.
